Really nice place, the service was incredible, she suggested some change on my order to improve it. The food came so fast that I couldn't believe it, we had not finished the appetizer. Really nice restaurant
I had the corn poblano smash burger. The patties had a great sear, the edges were crispy like they should be, and the sandwich was not dry. House made sweet potato tots were an upgrade from chips, and worth every penny. I chose to add a bit more salt to both, but I left entirely happy. I tasted my daughters’s portion of roasted Brussels, and they were divine! The basalmic drizzle was just right. She was pleased with her Rueben, and appreciated the thinly sliced corned beef. I can’t wait to make the 2 1/2 hour trip back for more!
I can't believe we didn't discover this place sooner! I cannot wait to return! Service was fast and our waitress was super nice. The atmosphere is just so casual yet a bit of swanky. These are some of the best burgers we've ever had! We had pretzel sticks and they were just as amazing. Give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed.
Had such a good time at the watch party The Anchor held both games on which i was there — Scotland vs Morocco and Brazil vs Haiti. They had a dj and the vibes were so fun. Will definitely be going back.
Definitely want to come back here sometime! I loved the laid back atmosphere and our server made us feel so welcome 😊 On top of it all, the food was perfection- fast, fresh, and the Jalapeño Popper Burger is a must-try!!
Wonderful food. Server Kevin was so nice and checked on us frequently. This was our first visit. We were seated at one of the two window seats. It was nice. Made it feel like a more private dinner. We will be back!
Friday night game night / date night brought us to Celina. We were looking for something downtown that didn't break the bank and found "The Anchor." The place was fairly busy and we were seated in the "back garage." Great for extra seating and ill bet its even better when the weather is nice and the patio is open! I ordered the "Cowboy Burger" and my wife ordered the "Jalapeño Popper Burger." Both with beer battered french fries. Even though they seemed pretty busy, our food arrived surprisingly quick! The burgers were absolutely delicious and the fries were spot on! If you're around the Celina area, I definitely recommend checking out "The Anchor" on Main St. Downtown!
Super cute and cozy place with friendly and quick service. They had a great looking menu and we tried the cheese curds to start, them my husband got the Cowboy burger on Texas toast and I tried the Anchor burger (sub veggie patty), also on Texas toast. Everything was toasted and done to perfection, and even tried the sweet potato tots with their recommended dipping sauce and it was amazing! Definitely recommend you make this a place to try!
My wife and I had an amazing time here! We drove an hour just to come to this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The sweet potato tots were amazing and my wife absolutely loved her burger. She wanted to come back the very next day she liked it so much!
We've eaten here a few times now and have enjoyed each time immensely. I love their peanut butter and jelly cheeseburger and she likes the reuben with sweet potato tots. The place is clean enough with attentive servers. Nice outdoor area, too! We'll be back!
